The central coast city of Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa Province has once again been chosen to host the Sea Festival which will run from June 6 to 12.
The organizing committee says that travelers who visit the city on this occasion will have a chance to indulge in the busy atmosphere of the festival which will feature some 70 activities.
A highlight of the week, along with beer and wine, will be the Cau Ngu Festival, a coastal ritual where fishermen worship whales.
The organizing committee disclosed that the Sea Festival would register several new records, including a parade of 250 classic Vespas, the largest bowl of noodles and the largest band with 150 musicians on traditional instruments. Festival-goers with talent in drawing can add their inspirations to a 100-meter painting which will feature the city’s environment issues.
This is the fourth Sea Festival that Khanh Hoa Province has organized since the first one in 2003. Entrance to all activities during the week is free of charge.
